About

Established in 1974, the Western Australian Youth Music Association (formerly the Western Australian Youth Orchestra Association) has enriched and diversified music practice in Australia, which in recent years has been through the delivery of eight ensembles, comprising close to 500 members.  The Association regularly reaches live audiences in excess of 30,000 per annum.  In 2009 the Western Australian Youth Orchestra will be touring to Asia to perform in Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau , following its highly successful European Tour of 2006.
